Joined the EIBB in the fall of 1998	Started playing trumpet in 1986.
Grew up in Cross Plains, Wisconsin (just outside of Madison)
Received a BA in Music with an Education Licensure from Luther College in Decorah, IA.
Currently Nathan is Educational Consultant for the national catalog sales division of West Music Company in Coralville. Nathan also plays in the Quintessential Brass, a brass quintet in Iowa City.
	Nathan's memories of EIBB include: Each and every Grand Celebration - not only the playing, but the fun antics afterwards...rum cake anyone? NABBA and US Open competitions because you get to see your hard work pay off -- and hear some fantastic groups perform. Playing for the Hooverfest fireworks show! Playing for appreciative audiences all over the Midwest. , Not a one! Each has brought some sort of memory along with it., Music: Nessun Dorma (gives me chills!) Gaelforce The Flower Duet from Lakme (I had Steve and Todd play this at my wedding)
Nathan married Anne in 2006 and enjoys photography, both landscape and portrait, and working around the house.
